Jim Scarborough Band features Glenn "G-Rex"  Rexach/Lead guitar, Kirk VanLaningham/Lead guitar, Omar "Aloha" Boulden/Drums, Aloysius/Bass and backing vocals and Tina "Diamond" Turner on Violin and Jon Freeland Clayton on Mandolin and backing vocals. The band is from Austin, Texas and has released Jim's fourth studio album FLY FOREVER in June of 2014 garnering strong reviews from L.A. Music Connection Magazine.

The band came together on a tennis court by chance. Jim, A former competitive tennis player, was practicing serves and Kirk was waiting on a hitting partner that was running late. Jim and Kirk started talking and realized they were both musicians. This led to a jam session and Kirk brought in another tennis player/drummer (Omar) for more jamming and a trio was born... Jim had played in a previous band with Aloysius and brought him in to see if he liked the musical direction of the band. Tina "Diamond" Turner joined the band in November of 2014. Jim Scarborough has played hundreds of shows and performed everywhere from cozy coffee shops to major concert venues headlining his own shows as well as opening for acts such as Delbert McClinton, Eric Burden (The Animals), Robbie Krieger (Doors), Chris Smither, Roy Bookbinder, Warren Zevon, Emmylou Harris and many more.
